Committees
Bylaws Committee
Members of this committee are responsible for submitting original and/or amended bylaws provisions to the Local Union membership for discussion and approval. This committee monitors the required Local Union Bylaws amendment procedure to ensure compliance with the current bylaws and constitutional provisions.
Chaplaincy Committee
The Chaplaincy Committee works to give hope and show acceptance to all, by making every effort to meet all needs, while being good listeners with continuous caring, yielding ourselves to the diversity of faiths with the utmost of integrity and confidentiality.
Civil Rights Committee
The Civil Rights committee is an essential guardian of the "No discrimination policy" of our Union. Members of this committee fulfill the Local Union’s commitment to assure members full rights regardless of religion, race creed, color, sex, political affiliation, nationality, age, disability, marital status or sexual orientation.
Community Service Committee
The Local Union Community Services Committee acquaints members with the community’s health and welfare services – how they can be reached; what kinds of programs they offer.
Education Committee
Building the power of the movement through education and training union members is the responsibility of the Education Committee.

The objective and purpose of the UAW Community Action Program Councils are to develop, promote and implement policies and programs designed to improve and enrich the quality of American life
Publicity, Consumer Affairs & Union Label Committee
If you are unfamiliar with consumer affairs, we are here to heighten your awareness of consumer rights among UAW members which in turn helps to protect us and gives us a voice in the marketplace
Recreation Committee
This committee is dedicated to providing the members of Local 145 Quality entertainment and activities.
Solidarity Committee
This committee works to promote union of interests or purposes or sympathies among members of a group
Substance Abuse Committee
The UAW Local 145 Substance Abuse Committee's mission is to address health and social issues in the community resulting from substance abuse.
Veterans Committee
The Veterans Committee seeks members who are willing to represent the interest of all active and retired UAW veterans and their families
